PayKickstart allows you to seamlessly integrate with PayPal to accept customer payments.

We have prepared a step-by-step guide for you, but before we begin, please take a look at our Important Notes section.

Important Note

DO NOT DELETE your previous PayPal integration if you are looking into integrating and adding a new PayPal integration.

You need to integrate your new PayPal account again in Configure > Integrations, as seen in the instructions below.

After integrating, you have to select the new PayPal integration in your Campaign’s Settings for all your new and future purchases to occur through.

If you are looking into accepting Multiple Currencies via PayPal, it is necessary to integrate your account multiple times and select each currency when integrating with PayPal.

This can be the same account.

This is a required step due to the need to have available integrations to select within your Campaign’s settings for each currency option.

Changing your PayPal email address is NOT RECOMMENDED.

This change can cause the need for your current customers to update their payment method for their active subscriptions.

Also, integrating a new PayPal account and switching it at the Campaign level would cause the customer’s billing agreements and transactions to fail, which would require an update of their billing details and PayPal details on the customer’s end in order to continue to be billed properly.

We recommend making sure your PayPal email address is secure and remains active to avoid having to change any details in the future after your integration is live.

Please Note:

You can integrate Multiple PayPal Accounts for your single PayKickstart account.

Now that’s we’ve covered the danger zones and additional notes, let’s begin setting up your PayPal integration!

The first step is to integrate PayPal with your entire account.

Once you have connected with PayPal, you will be able to enable or disable it for each product or service that you are selling.

💡 Note regarding Password Changes

If your PayPal account password changes, it will update automatically with PayKickstart.

There is no need to change the integration settings on PayKickstart’s end, and changing your password will not affect your integration.
